About Leanne.

I am a writer who thinks in frameworks, a strategist who creates, and an adviser who publishes.

For over 20 years I have worked at the intersection of financial services and organisational transformation — helping institutions and leaders build differently. That work has taken me into boardrooms, investment committees, and leadership teams across Europe and beyond. It produced a bestselling book, Closing the Gap: How to Include Black Women in Any Gender Equity Strategy, published by Bloomsbury.

But the work has never been only that.

I make videos. I speak and speaking is where I feel most alive, most myself, most able to say the things that need saying in rooms where they often go unsaid. I have stood on stages at UNIDO Vienna, South Summit Madrid, the CFA Diversity Conference Boston, and IAA MOBILITY Munich. Each one a different room. The same conviction.

I founded The Atelier — a biannual print collection for the multifaceted global woman because I believe in the power of physical, considered objects in a world that moves too fast. I am building a podcast. I publish other writers. I create content that documents the thinking as it develops.

I do all of these things not despite each other but because of each other. The rigour of financial services informs how I edit. The creativity of publishing informs how I advise. The speaking informs the writing. None of it is separate.

The belief underneath all of it is simple: our commonality is defined by how we live and who we are — not by a prescriptive version of what womanhood, leadership, or success is supposed to look like.

I am a three-time LinkedIn Top Voice for Gender Equity. Featured in Bloomberg, Business Insider, Investment Week, ESG Clarity, and Stylist.
