About Leanne.
I'm an infrastructuralist building systems for multifaceted women who refuse to choose between dimensions of themselves.
For 14 years, I worked in asset management, navigating structures that weren't designed for women like me. I saw brilliant women leave because the systems demanded they choose: career or family, ambition or authenticity, professional success or personal fulfillment.
So I built what didn't exist.
My Approach
In 2025, I launched The Atelier—a sophisticated biannual print magazine exploring how multifaceted women live across six dimensions. I founded LALM Publications to create infrastructure for women's voices in publishing.
My work centers on a simple premise: we need better infrastructure, not better women.
Through strategic advisory, I help organizations fundamentally redesign their approach to gender equity. Through speaking, I challenge audiences to move from default systems to designed ones. Through The Atelier, I create space for women to see themselves reflected in their full complexity.
My bestselling book, "Closing the Gap: How to Include Black Women in Any Gender Equity Strategy," challenges organizations to build truly inclusive systems. I've been named LinkedIn Top Voice for Gender Equity and featured in Bloomberg, Business Insider, Essence, and Stylist.
I'm fluent in English and German, and have two children. I'm building infrastructure that lasts beyond me—systems that serve the multifaceted women who come after.
